Rosacea consists of facial bumps, pimples, and enlarged blood vessels resulting in a red, uneven appearance. Rosacea symptoms vary from person to person, with occasional burning and itch. There is no cure but there are many effective treatments and lifestyle changes.
Those who develop rosacea often have a fair complexion, family history of rosacea, and a history of excessive sun exposure. Flare ups may develop in response to sun exposure, new medications, stress, alcohol, extreme temperatures, hot drinks and exercise.
